How to Transfer Files Between Two Computers easily

So many computer (PC) and laptop user find it difficult to transfer file from one pc to another pc, without using flash disk, card reader, Bluetooth etc. Media, such as video, audio, image, file or even software transfer is usually question of many pc users apart from the above mention procedure, below are easy ways to transfer files(video, audio, image, files) from pc to pc

Before you start transferring files with the steps listed below, you must make a setting on your pc. Follow the guide below…

  1. Right-click on the network symbol at the bottom right of your computer and click open network and sharing center
  2. At the left hand side, click change advanced sharing settings and change the settings as shown below

Making use of Ethernet cable to transfer data from pc to pc, yet not known by many, it is one of the simplest ways to transfer

(Files, images, audio, etc.) The procedure to follow will be explained below.

Connect the edge of the cable to the side of each pc respectively, (first edge to pc 1 network port and the other port to pc 2 network)

Having done that, wait till the network signal appear and show sign of connection on both pc (that can be seen on your pc screen toolbar).

After pcs have been connected successfully to each other, click ctrl E to open window explorer.

Click on the network (on window explorer on both pc, make sure you double-click network on desktop screen for both pc1, pc2 respectively.

If you follow this article very well, you should be able to see public folder of both pc appearing.

By now you can click on public folder to locate the file to be transfer to pc2, similarly click on pc2 to receive file from pc1

Hotspot:

Turn on your wireless hotspot (make sure your both pc wireless connection is turn on as well.

Check your pc wireless on toolbar and connect with the hotspot you created; make sure you connect the both pc on the same hotspot.

After the both pc have been connected successfully to each other, click ctrl E to open window explorer.

Click on the network (on window explorer on both pc, make sure you click network for both pc1, pc2 respectively.

If you follow this article very well, you should be able to see public folder of both pc appearing.

By now you can click on public folder to locate the file to be transfer to pc2, similarly click on pc2 to receive file from pc1

Making use of HDMI cable to transfer from pc to pc, this is another technique that is not known by many, and is one of the simplest ways of transferring

(Files, images, audios, etc.) The procedure to follow will be explained below.

Local area connection (LAN)

This is totally different from the previous procedure because you have to create a temporarily network on your pc1, pc2 respectively.

Right click your network or toolbar, right click on open network and sharing center then click on setup a new connection or network then scroll the arrow down and click on setup a adhoc ( computer to computer) network and click next, click next again and give your network name, security type and security key.

Note: in security type column choose no authentication and leave the security key empty then tick save this network then click next to finish.
